Trenton: A shooting incident that left three people injured in Trenton is under investigation by police. Police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the 100 block of Home Avenue shortly before 8:30 p.m. where they arrived to find a male victim suffering a gunshot wound to the stomach at that location.
There is a homicide investigation underway in Orange as authorities attempt to find a suspect wanted for a shooting that killed a man overnight. Police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the vicinity of Park Avenue and North Center Street at around 9:25 p.m. where officers arrived to find the victim unconscious and unresponsive after suffering gunshot wounds at that location.
Washington Township: A woman is dead after being struck on a busy highway. It happened at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday in the northbound lanes of the East Black Horse Pike near Ganttown Road. The woman was crossing the road with a friend when, that friend told Action News, she was struck by a truck
Springfield: A driver died Sunday after he crashed into a medical office building in Springfield during a police chase, authorities said. Authorities said the driver got into an argument around 4 p.m. Sunday with a Union police officer during a traffic stop.

Paterson: A Dunkin Donuts employee in New Jersey was killed when he was struck by a vehicle on Thursday night. It happened in Paterson around 7 p.m. while the worker was sweeping up leaves in the drive-thru lane near Route 20 and East 33rd St.

Newark: An off-duty Newark police officer returned gunfire during an attempted robbery early Tuesday morning, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Robert Laurino said in a statement. According to the Essex County Prosecutor's Office preliminary investigation, two men approached the off-duty police officer around 12:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Wainwright Street and attempted to rob him.
