Jackson says one man has passed away and another man jumped from the third floor, sustaining serious injuries. Three other people were hospitalized with less serious injuries.
One person was killed when a fire tore through a house in Newark Wednesday morning, authorities said.
A two-alarm fire burned through a home in Newark early Wednesday, injuring at least five people. Firefighters were met with heavy fire upon arriving at the home. One person jumped out a second-floor window and was being treated for injuries. At least four others also suffered injuries.
