The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit, Special Investigation Squad, and the Glen Rock Police Department are investigating a shooting incident that occurred at Wilde Memorial Park on Maple Avenue in Glen Rock, New Jersey. At approximately 7:34 p.m., Tuesday evening the Glen Rock Police Department responded to a disturbance at Wilde Memorial Park where a large crowd was gathered playing basketball on the outdoor basketball courts. One adult male was shot and is currently being treated at an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. There is no ongoing threat, although the scene and investigation remain active. The park remains closed to the public until further notice. No additional information is available at this time while the investigation is underway.
