Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Saddle Brook Police Department are investigating an attempted homicide involving a crossbow in Saddle Brook, New Jersey, on Monday, February 17, 2025. Monday at approximately 5:55 p.m., the Saddle Brook Police Department responded to a 9-1-1 call reporting a woman seriously injured at her place of employment, a business on Route 46 East in Saddle Brook and officers found a woman of adult age who had been shot in the face with a crossbow, and the suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival.
